Here we are in a high speed catamaran approaching Pulpit Rock in a fjord near Stavanger, Norway. On the right hand side of this huge 2000 foot high rock is a "V" notch. That is where the world famous lookout is. It is one of the top 10 lookouts in the world.

Here's one of Rupert's earliest War Canoes. From before the age of gunpowder, no cannons on this ship! Room for 30 men to row with oars (60 if you double the up), plus a sail for wind power.

And this is Vigeland Park in Oslo. All the statues were created by one man over many decades of work.

And one last picture from my trip...

Back in the day before photography, rich groups of men would hire an artist and have him paint a group picture of them to hang in their Club Hall. This one is the most famous of them all. Painted by Rembrandt, this is called the "Night Watch" and is a painting of a local Militia Group of obviously older, wealthy men who have their club called a local Militia. The characters are posed as real life, not phony posings. This is how they really looked. What you cannot tell by this picture is they are LIFE SIZED! Yes, this painting is ENORMOUS! About 15 by 40 feet in size. Rembrandt even painted himself into the picture. He is very faint in the back row betwee the hats of two of the main characters there. Don't know if you can pick it up from this picture. This is my kind of art!!! I wish we could have a group painting of the members of Cutlass Isle!!!
