OK, I think this is a really good one....
There have been 12 people who have won Academy, Emmy, Grammy, and Tony Awards. That means they won the highest awards from the film industry, the Television Industry, the Recorded Music Industry and the Live Theater Industry.
I am asking you to name TWO people who have won all four of the awards. One is too easy, you must get two correct.
BTW: A couple of the people above have also won the Pulitizer Prize and several have won Presidential Medals of Freedom. These are very successful, talented people! |

I think we worked this territory before, or something close to it. But I don't recall the answers exactly.
I think that Rita Moreno and Barbara Streisand have won at least 3 of those awards each. |

I'll guess Bing Crosby and Judy Garland.
EDIT: I just cheated; neither of these people were on the list. |

Rusty got it right! Rita Moreno and Marvin Hamlisch both are winners of all 4 awards thru competition so they are truly legit. Barbar Streisand got her fourth award via honorary (non-competitive) process, so she is not one of the “big 12”. There wer about 5 people who got their 4th award non-competitively.
The other big 12 people are:
Richard Rogers
Helen Hayes
John Gielgud
Audrey Hepburn
Johnathan Tunick
Mel Brooks (a favorite of mine)
Mike Nichols
Whoopi Goldberg (yuck!)
Scott Rudin, and
Robert Lope
86 other people have won 3 of the 4 awards
Your turn Rusty! |

It is thought of as a type of seaweed, rather than a scum, so you are on the right track, Pirate. Keep guessing, guys. |

Giant kelp it is! It's a form of brown algae.
Your turn, fleetp. |

In the book Twenty Thousand Leagues Under the Sea, Professor Aronnax, his servant Conseil, and the harpoonist Ned Land were on a US Navy ship looking for the 'sea monster.'
What was the name of the US Navy ship?
Wait 24 hours before doing a search. |
