Name the 2,170-mile (3,490 km) historic East–West, large-wheeled wagon route and emigrant trail in the United States that connected the Missouri River to valleys in Oregon. This should be a easy one.

Gee, it’s not the Missouri River trail. I wonder what it could be?

Love it. I am a fan and have personally visited quite a few spots on the Oregon Trail. It was the largest voluntary migration in history. Over 300,000 people travelled the trail (almost all by walking). Over 30,000 people died along the trail.
Here is only a partial list of the places I have visited in Wyoming, Idaho and Oregon:
Independence Rock
South Pass, Wyoming
Devil's Gate
Split Rock
Soda Springs
1000 Springs
Three Island Crossing
Fort Boise
Bend of the River
Crossing the Blue Mountains
The Dalles
The Barlow Toll Road
Oregon City

My question- What killed off 30,000 people on the trail? It was a disease. Which disease was it?

French and Indian War

When an Indian delegation asked the defenders of Fort Pitt to surrender, the British commander refused and sent them away. While doing so, he gave them gifts, which included food, alcohol and two blankets and a handkerchief which had come from people suffering from what disease ?

Yup there intent was to weaken the enemy by spreading the disease to the Indians who at the time had a very large force. Germ warfare has been around longer than some people would think. You turn Salty.

Allegedly the Hittites drove people with an infectious disease into enemy lands. So, yeah, its been around awhile.

My experience with germ warfare was keeping secret of having just getting over a nasty cold from a girl I was dating at the time. My reason for doing it was I knew she wouldn't kiss me if I told her about it. I've been a bad boy all my life it looks like.
