Reggie Jackson has the record for most strike-outs. Salty Dog is correct, so it is his turn to ask the next question.

Way before Ernie. Go ahead and search. The amazing thing about this awesome achievement is that it did not make the top baseball headline that day because John McGraw retired that day.

I have never heard of Bobby Lowe. The player who first hit 4 homers is one of the most popular members of the Hall of Fame.

I never heard of Bobby Lowe either but when I looked it up according to the source he was the first. I believe it was May 30 1894 or something like that.

The first real MLB player to hit 4 home runs in a game is the fellow who owned the streak for most consecutive games played before Cal Ripken Jr. broke the record.

OK, I did a search and you are technically correct. I see two fellow hit four home runs in the 1890's. However, these are not considered legit because the game was quite a bit different then. In 1932, Lou Gehrig hit four real home runs and that is widely considered the real record.
Since your answer is listed as the first, you are correct. Go ahead with a new question! Surprised

I'm going to guess World Series games were not held in 1944 and 1945.

EDIT: I just looked up the answer, and I was wrong on both years. Sad

I will guess 1917 and 1981. Not sure, of course.

No correct answer so far. The first one was way before my time but I do remember the last one when The MLB players went on strike. Feel free to look it up now.

What year was a World Series not played?
The World Series was not played in 1904 (because the National League team refused to play the American League team) and in 1994 (because of a players' strike).

I remember 1981 but they did play the Series that year. I forgot about 1994, should have remembered that one.
