I don't know but I think pumas have a pretty big range so I'll go with that.

You are correct, Mr. Blue! Southern Argentina is farther south than South Africa, and the puma (cougar, panther, etc.) is the only cat that can be found all the way to the south end of South America.

There's a bobcat sized feline known as the Fishing Cat.

In which part ( by compass ) of which continent are fishing cats found in the wild?

They are mostly marsh cats, and loosing habitat. They do eat mostly fish. They are found in isolated areas in the foothills of the Himalayas, and pockets in coastal areas of India, Sri Lanka. Now and then there will be a sighting in Pakistan, Burma, Thailand, Cambodia or Java in wildlife preserves. People are killing them in Bangladesh.

Your turn Salty

This question has some pretty good education built into it.....

During the 1800's, families living in Sicily followed a long-adopted practice that the the inheritance of an estate went to the oldest male. This kept the farms and lands from being split up. Younger male children normally followed one of two paths with their lives/careers: Join the Military or Join the Clergy. In the 1800's another path opened up to them.

Question: What third choice did these non-inheriting men (and their families) chose in the second half of the 19th Century and the first half of the 20th Century?
