ok having watched the clip on Pirates! from pulse. I have written these key points down about the show.
Pirates!
A new video available was shown of the game and game play
Sid & Barry discusses the game of why it was created and what’s new.
Barry said that Pirates! Is one of the most requested titles to be re-released
Age is what dictates what happens in the game just like in previous pirates
Ship upgrades are available unlike the old game.
Still can raise & lower the sails but now has more options then just shooting the cannons off.
Still scheduled to be released Nov. 2004
Pulse went a little into Sid’s history of gaming and why his name is on the box.
20 yrs of programming and designer and programs core part of the game
Believe they are game players as much as programmers
Philosophy is the players is the star of the game and try to give them many options depending on the style of playing of the player
Sid’s name on the box is to let people know what to expect for a certain type of gaming style that he has been known to give. So if they never played the game before they just might because of what Sid has always offered.
Hope everyone gets a chance to see it. |

I would've liked to see that, but being on the other side of the world doesn't help. There aren't too many shows about gaming here, so I don't think I'll get to see it.
Maybe it'll get posted on the Pirates website as a downloadable video. _________________ Shiver me timbers!!!
