Trust me, 8 more guns make a huge difference. _________________ Blondebeard: "Madre de Dios! Es el Pollo Diablo!!"

48 guns? Wow, that's a big difference. I always loved it when I sink a ship and hear their crew cry out. This SotL with surely make it easier to bring others down! |

Sometimes to easy and it ends up blowin in your face. Once you give em a little damage use the chain or grape shot, unless you like the fire and brimstone thing. |

Yeah, I've actually sunk a Galleon using nothing but Grape-shot
Treasure Galleons seem to be the most susceptible to damage, ie. the weakest opponent. I have sunk more than one of 'em buggars with just one salvo. English Frigates, Brigs and stuff I have a load more trouble with. Takes me up to 4-5 salvos with Chain-shots just to get their gorramed sails down in addition to a blast or two with Roundshots
Pirate Raiders will generally take 2 loads of Chains to subdue.
Again, Galleons of all classes are seem more susceptible than any other ship. _________________ "If I didn't hate life, what would I spend all my time raving about?" - Silvertail |
