Okay, so I've got a map for Montalban's Hideout. Problem is, it seems to in no way correspond with the actual world map. In particular, the landmark it's close to is on the far West of the landmass, whereas the map shows it as being on somewhere on the East. WTF?

The map says "S.E. of Campeche" The east coast of the landmass is S.E. of Campeche. The hideout is not anywhere near "Captain's Head" where your ships are looking. Sail north of there till you find the Indian village of "Luk- Cairi" then look north of Luk-Cairi.

Note also that there may be more than one Captain's Heads on the world map - seafarers are notorious for using the same names over and over again (just see how many Desolation Islands there are on seafaring maps in RL).
