An IRC or shoutbox between Hooked on Pirates!, Addicted to Pirates! and Pirates Ahoy! would be interesting.
But there isn't enough activity to make running it worthwhile.  |

First noticed this was missing around early Aug 2020
when I bothered to check
(no telling when it went AWOL before that)
This was another SM pirates Fansite back in the day

is still going
more an Akella Pirate games fan site
such as Sea Dogs, Disneyfied 1st POTC, Age of Pirates games

The wayback machine needs full site access for its web crawlers
(doesn't work with restricted access passworded sites which addictedtopirates probably was
also does not archive all download links as more a web page archive
and can be very sluggish to access

May 16, 2014 site snapshot not that useful, unable to browse forums
or mods on the wayback machine
Mods downloads required account registration for some back in the day
Had an idea so went back further
randomly tried early Jan 2006

able to browse ok can see mods but some mods downloads links may not available due to password login required issue
EDIT tried a few mods downloads which work others didn't
(some may be blocked by your browser which you need to allow)
