Not one but two mugs! An indication of how much caffeine will be consumed in your effort to postpone sleep and prolong your first mission?

Weird - got the 1st Mug by itself.

Then 2 weeks later - got a second Mug - and the Tee Shirt Smile

Some folks on the FD boards where saying the mugs and shirts where rather low quality. How are yours?

Mugs OK.

Tee Shirt I would say is a bit on the Cheap Side - but it is a Souvenir.

Good to know! I was pretty hesitant after hearing the reports. However, you are right, it is a souvenir, and it supports what is looking like an excellent game!

I backed Star Citizen and will be backing Elite Dangerous. I wager that both will be incredibly good. My dad is an old DOS fart and is more excited about Elite Dangerous since ships will have to obey the laws of physics.

So show him this, he would like it - he sounds like he is a cool Dad, as not too many have a Dad that is into Gaming.

Elite Dangerous so far is awesome, I have been playing the Alpha Test version on this system which is just 2 months old now.

Intel Core i7 4770K 3.5GHz Quad Core CPU with NZXT Kraken X40 140mm AIO Liquid CPU Cooler
Gigabyte GeForce GTX 780 Ti 3GB 876MHz
16GB DDR3 RAM
Intel 530 Series 120GB SSD
Seagate Barracuda 2TB ST2000DM001
Microsoft Windows 8.1 64bit
2 x BenQ RL2455HM 24in LED Monitor
1 x LG LED 24in Monitor

With the SSD - it has a boot time of just on 10 seconds.

This is the Top View - Images are just Images - not the game - as it currently only supports 1 Screen - though 3 Screens would be fantastic..

This is my C64 linked up to a VCR with RF in, and RCA Out - sending the signal to a 50" Plasma TV - playing Elite Smile

It took a broken foot for me to do this, hence the cast and moon boot near the fireplace - I was home for some weeks alone - and got so bored - I dragged out the Worship C64 Worship and played some of my favourite oldy games on the original device - the most played being Elite. Smile

Looks better on the small screen though - Pixels 2" x 2" ( or 5cm x 5cm ) are just a little overbearing - but it really brought back great memories.

Next time you kick in the door to a cabin, you'll be more careful.

Well, Ok, then. Good reason.

But I should warn you that if your girlfriend is ever kidnapped, she might really be eloping and trying to extort money from her father, because he'd never let her marry a Don anyway. Not worth breaking a foot over.

But after she sees that you have been wounded in the process of rescuing her, she might just ditch the don for the dashing, heroic privateer!
