Crusader Kings: Deus Vult -> Europa Universalis 2 -> Victoria: Revolutions
Playing through the time period of 1066-1920. Start as a dynastic ruler in CK, then monarch of the country in EU2 and from that the government in Vic. Ahh, the many hours I could spend to this one.. |

How good is Europa Universalis 2? Is it worth it? |

Hell yeah it's worth!
You can play any nation set in 1419-1790. Although naval European powers have tech superiority. It's my favourite game from those three (CK, EU2, Vic). Try it. You won't be disappointed if you like strategy games. One playthrough AI-Sweden formed the United States.
Also, there's pirates. |
