Why can't the criminals hide out in pirate havens, so the barmaids there can show their prowess with using a bottle as bludgeon? Or an obnoxious buccaneer appear to annoy them?
A pity the Concertina can't be used to strike up a dance in the tavern...

Back on topic *AHEM*, my favorite would have to be the English daughter with the red hair, odd features and sort of turquoise dress. I've only run across her once or twice, so she's pretty uncommon...

I got lucky enough to marry the beautiful english redhead, lovely lass.
Though I do enjoy the Spanish girls, I plan to marry one next game when I'm picking on the English.
Once the Master Expansion comes out though, all your Dutch Barmaids are belogn to me!

I'm a Blonde Dutch #2 kinda guy (The girl with the darker dress). She's fiiiiine. Sometimes I just get the Dutch to become strong enough to conquer the city where my wife lives so she'll become Dutchy.

Heh I agree with you Areandbee. I dislike always having to go to those pits full of rich snobs. Would be nice if you could marry a pirate's daughter, or something like that. Out of the ones you can wed though... I voted for the French daughters. Although I do like the Spanish and English ones, can't say I have ever seen a Dutch beauty. |
