Since the "Your daughter is so plain" thread leads to alot of laughs, I figure this topic should give us some too 
Here're a few to start:
Searching for a lost city takes so much time you would spend the 50k you find on food, if you weren't running around with a ghost crew 
Searching for a lost city takes so much time that by the time you return to town you're forced to retire!
Searching for a lost city takes so much time that even though you set out to look for it, it'll be your son's son who eventually makes it back on ship

I thought you got the 50K for finding it, because it was lost. Now that it has been found I want to plunder it. That is if I could ever find it again.... Go figure huh...

Hahahaha!! Of course you'd have to get alot of gold from such a plundering for it to be worth while going on such a long trip!!
Btw, has anyone ever wondered what the heck an Inca city is doing anywhere away from the Andes mountains ???
