PC -> no.

Same was true on every previous version of Pirates! (All the way back to the C-64.)

You keep your flagship.
So if you must divide the plunder, put your best ship in the lead.

The better approach is to not divide!
Get enough money or a small enough crew that you can keep pirating.

Besides Dividing eats up 6 months (PC)
