Have you tried Robin Hood: Defender of the Crown?
Supposed to be a remake of the original, released in 2003... _________________ It is much better to be armed with a sword that has two edges than with an estoc [...], which is nothing more than a stick with a point. (Rapier Master G. Morsicato Pallavicini, La Scherma Illustrata, p. 14.) |

Well there are a few titles that come to my mind:
First of all the classic rts games like age of empire3 and anno 1702 and stuff like that.
More recently I'm thinking of 'Warhammer Mark of chaos' which is a remake of the classic dark omen. Great graphics and gameplay, upgradebale units and heroes etc. But there's no castle building.
Did you try out stronghold2?
Now Defender of the crown was my first game on my amiga500 some 20 years ago and it's one of those classics with a specific flavour which is hard to find in modern games.
EDIT: just noticed they have to be non pc games, sorry my mistake.
Personally I'm looking for a modern version of 'Deuteros'. 'EvE' seems pretty close but it has monthly fees. |

I don't think it's very childish. There are some kids online that can be stupid, but the game itself is not the cause of that. I always research my games before them so if I were you I'd check out gamespot.com. There you can see professional reviews, screenshots, and look at the forums to see the gamer's opinions. Only thing about BFME2 is that to have it on really good graphics, you need a good cpu. I have 1GB RAM and a pretty good graphics card and most I'll ever go on is medium for graphics level. _________________ "The time has come," the Walrus said,

Rome:Total War is very fun as well.
It is the classic game of starting as a small kingdom and becoming a mighty empire during the roman's peak.+3D battles are awesome _________________ Young Gun |

Since I'm an avid GameFAQs-er, I'm offended by that
Have any of you heard about the Europa Universalis series? The graphics of the first and second are not very up-to-date, but tbh I couldn't care less. And it's quite a fun strategy game, although a bit different and more... hardcore-ish. |

That was a fun Amiga game. It was designed to feel like a movie, wasn't it- like "Sinbad" and "The Three Stooges"- produced by the same company?
I usually played the bearded guy (don't recall his name at the moment) who had superior jousting skills. I never lost a joust. So I captured land primarily that way- three "counties" won per tournament- while the other guys were clobbering each other and getting weaker. I rarely lost a game with that strategy. _________________ Rule, Britannia! Britannia, rule the waves;

Age of empires best game series ever Rome total war is extremely well done if you haven't played that game you need to. I'm really good at RTW it's a lot like Sid's Civilization in the sense of turns i think RTW is better then Civilization. srry Sid |
