What three games would take with you? The island has internet access and electricity.
Me:
1. Sid Meier's Pirates! (the newer one)
2. Team Fortress 2
3. Civilization 4 |

Assuming that the " Computer " would Play anything I took - from no matter what platform - then I would take :
1.) Mechwarrior - Mercenaries
2.) - Yep - Definitely Pirates - the Latest Version
3.) Ages of Empires
Note - I only took 1 Multiplayer Game - for no particular reason - but I Loved Mech Warrior - and the Expansion Packs - but it was a DOS Game - I used to Run it on my 486dx4 100 - but - alass - the PC is no More - I have the CD's - but believe this - when I try to install them now - they say I do not have enough RAM ( Lazy Programmers ) - I now have 2 Gig |

I'd definately take AoE if I had someone to play with. Civilization's multiplayer takes a wee bit too long for me. |

1. Pirates! (the one that we know best, here on the Isle)
2. All Age of Empires games- same as sparticus and ExtraCrispy(we could have a Clan!)
3. Battlefield 1942
4. Whatever I could run on a Commodore 64 emulator- Archon, Gateway to Apshai, the Ultimas _________________ Rule, Britannia! Britannia, rule the waves;

Is it possible to set up an AoE game online?
I've played other games on Australian servers before. The ping is about 200-300 from here. Fairly laggy but bearable. |

I don't see why not. The MSN Gaming Zone is defunct, but there are ways and means...
I would need your IP address (or you, mine), we would need to have the same version of AOE (for example, the AOC 1.0e patch), then we could start a game.
The only question would be, the time zone. It's 4:00 pm, MST here, as I type- I don't know what that is where you are... _________________ Rule, Britannia! Britannia, rule the waves;

Are there AoE servers in Australia? Perhaps the both of us could connect to somewhere like Singapore or the Philippines?
Cool. If we get around to setting up a match will it be the three us against the AI or everyone for themselves? |

I have not played AOE on line for a long time now.
I am not even sure if I know where my CD is now - I think I lent it to my brother in-law.
I will see if he still has it - ( but he lives a few hours away ) |

Hmmm...15 hours ahead...or nine hours before it is the same day here...
More hmmms...18 hours ahead...or six hours before it is the same day here...
So, late in the evening, say about 930 pm here, it is 1230 pm CrispyTime, and 330 pm sparticus time...
That is a good time for me, if on a certain chosen Friday night (or Saturday afternoon to both of ye).
We could even play 3 vs 3 computer civs- on Moderate if ye feel a little rusty. I don't want to clobber any human players, I just want to play online!
What think ye, mateys?
