Sorry. No, as you've since seen.

I always try to answer you, Salty. I know you often can't see my posts, I guess it's memory caches or something.

It was a Mickey Mouse cartoon, I'm asking for the name of the cartoon.

Donald Duck and Goofy were also in this particular cartoon.

No, I think that was Tony's Restaurant in the spaghetti eating scene.

Hints: Besides Mickey Mouse, Donald Duck and Goofy, the cartoon had a character named Willie the Giant.

Feel free to use the internet to do a search.

Hmmm. Was this "Mickey and the Beanstalk"? I never saw it, but I had a record of it when I was a kid.

Hint #1: It's an American fast food chain.

Hint #2: The chain's iconic founder and brand ambassador resembled Santa Claus, sort of.

Hint #3: The chain's color scheme resembles Santa's color scheme.

Correct! Since 1974, KFC in Japan has promoted its chicken in December with the slogan, "Kentucky for Christmas".

Most Japanese people seem to think of Christmas as being similar to Valentine's Day - a time to spend with one's significant other.

I am leaving tomorrow morning for a 17 day cruise from Los Angeles to Hawaii and back. I will lose internet around 5:30 PM Pacific Time and not regain internet until we reach Honolulu the morning of Dec 27th. So, answer this question quickly and if no one gets it before 5:30 PM tomorrow, go ahead and search using the words I am giving you below and you will easily find the answer on Wikipedia.

I was recently in Naples, Italy. They told us there used to be a Funicular railway up Mount Vesuvius - the big volcano that erupted in 79 AD and covered up Pompeii and Hercunaleum. The Funicular was built in 1880. In order to promote this new Funicular and get people to ride it, they hired a songwriter to write a jingo promoting the railway.

It was written to commemorate the opening of the first funicular cable car on Mount Vesuvius. It was presented by Turco and Denza at the Piedigrotta festival the same year. The sheet music was published by Ricordi and sold over a million copies within a year. Since its publication, it has been widely adapted and recorded.

What is the name of this very widely known song?
