With the original unpatched version you can sack and install a new governor an unlimited amount of times but in the patched version you have to make sure you leave one or two of the other nations. Once you sack a town you can't sack it again until one of the other nations sacks and converts nationality again. |

The rest of this thread - seems to have disappeared.
Perhaps it was ransacked by one of the top 10 Pirates, an Invasion Force or was it Indians ??
But to Answer the Question :

Lost count!
Anyways it is
1=Ransack
2=Pillage
3=Loot
4=Engage in extreme debuachary
5=Stampede the livestock
6=Empty the cellars of wine,ale and rum
7= Burn the place down.
It is NOT required to do the above in that Order.
Except #7,,,ALWAYS save BURN Last! 
ohhhh,,,i would hate to be pillaged.

For about 12 months I played Pirates about 4hrs a day for 4 to 5 days a week - had a nice IT Baby Sitting job back then. |

I believe there are new people on the board who have not seen this post or heard about Sparticus's epic game. He played the game for over 3340 years in SMP time! This is like playing 160 to 175 games all the way through! I am surprised he only got 42 rings. Guess he stopped romancing new daughters! Still, his totals of 10,940,416 gold, 6057 ships and 1869 cities sacked are all records!!!! |
