I think all of us have done this at one time or another. You have to re-take a lot of cities when you do this. What happens is the countries that have lost all their cities keep sending invasion forces from small settlements and they often succeed in retaking a city. By all means, give it a try as it is fun!
I started last night at the far left with Vera Cruz and worked my way over with Havana and St Augustine and down to Puerto cabello. All french and I've already had to retake Santiago and Havana. My guy is only 30 and I've already done everything. My mission now is world domination lol
I think the game makes smaller countries more aggressive. That is why the Dutch always send out the most invasion fleets, and it is why countries become more aggressive as you take away their cities.
Sounds like fun! What level are you playing? Have you found all for Lost Cities too? Nice work!
It's on apprentice so not much of an accomplishment but ty lol and I have the 1st 2 ancient cities. I haven't been given the map for the 3rd one yet. I haven't been to see any of the governor's daughters either since I started taking over all of the cities
