Looking to poke around in my old Pirates! 1987 game...

I can open the Disk save file in notepad++ and i want to turn off the UNHAPPY of my crew or move it to HAPPY.

I know you all love it i do too just want to have some fun with this classic

the file is small about 18kb and it hold 4 save games

game seems to freak out when you go over 128,000 / 256,000 gold probably an old limit. the PARTY thinks its broke and gets angry...

any hex way to remove it would be neat!

I got rid of my old Mac and yes, I played the game in 1987 on a Mac SE/30 I believe. That old game was in black and white and you got hit points every time you were hit by an enemy sword. Once you got hit too many times you were forced to retire. It was tough to win the old game and I don't think I ever did. This brings back old memories and I am proud to have played the game back then. I am amazed you still have an old file from that game. It is of no value nowadays except for curiosity.

Hello and Welcome! Hmmm! Have you tried searching for cheats, tricks or anything like that. I don’t have the game and it’s been out a long time so it’s hard to know what information is out there on it.
