Even though no seamark appears on the map, there always has to be one. Look along the Belize coast (i.e., the east side of Yucatan). I think the treasure will be southwest of the seamark (since the X is southwest of the map's center). Good luck!

I could be wrong but think I had this actual treasure map before
and it is one of the worst as you could waste a lot of time on it.

Normally you would searched the Honduras bay coastline (using the Telescope from ship) generally SE of Campeche and find a seamark as suggested by Roland.

If this is the map I think it is, don't bother, it's not there by the coast,
it is on dry land. There is no coastline indicated on the Treasure Map.

(The In Game World map should gave a clue as to whether it's on land or by the coast, you need to look closely at the suggested City location
icon position on the map).

You need to sail to Campeche (don't enter the city) and go on land
(Suggest a savepoint)

Treasure Maps are facing north

You have to march south from Campeche and adjust your heading,
think I had to bear South West. Trick was going initially far enough south.
Ingame World Map again to check on your progress.
Use Telescope from any highground vantage point on the way.

it's not that far maybe a few ingame days and look for hidden city icon - 2 red poles as far as I can recall.

Geyers are not the most accurate landmark as sort of randomly
placed gushers

Think I used more the Deserted cabin & rock arches and other landmarks

If you don't have the actual game map
Try the Mods - pull down menu bar above - other

It is also covered here

Has anyone made a treasure map coastline atlas?
