I have no trouble getting files out of the cd but can't get to the game files they won't extract from that point on. some cds you can go in grab the files and others not. WinRAR failed to open it. |

winrar or 7-zip would not expect much beyond viewing say a list of filenames
on the CD, especially with commercial add-on products using installers
such as say InstallShield
winrar or 7-zip more likely to work with self-extracting executables
(renaming the executable as a Rar file sometimes helps,
with 7-zip probably better)
First problem is to identify the type of installer used
TrID - File Identifier can help, which is included in
Universal Extractor
Universal Extractor 2
(see previously in the Thread for Links)
Also Total Commander + Plugin
browse and extract the contents of .exe and .msi files for
Wise Installer, Vise Installer, Inno Setup, Gentee Installer, numerous InstallShield versions, NullSoft Installer versions 1.1o and up, SetupFactory, Eschalon Installer, and Windows Installer (MSI).
Can't recall if you need the full product to use plugins |

Corsair I used Universal Extractor 2. It appears to be a .cab file but wiinRar or pea zip wouldn’t open it. Universal opened it first crack. Thanks. Thanks for the links you sent me about the game downloads etc. Internet Archives appears down now there was more i attended to get. Hopefully soon. |

Glad Universal Extractor 2 appears to do the trick

Nothing yet as regards the Files archive. |
