Hey jlangsdo,
any updates here ? The mod with more towns in the Gulf of Mexico would be really nice.
If there is a town limit and towns would need to be removed I would say Gran Granada, Gibraltar, Rio de la Hacha and either Puerto Bello or Nombre de Dios could go.

Has anyone tried that save game editor or maybe a different one ? I have installed perl now but the save games I create all get corrupted.
Even if I do not change anything I get a corrupted file. I tried for example to start a new game, save the game in slot1 and then
CMD
perl pirates_savegame_editor.pl -unpack slot1
perl pirates_savegame_editor.pl -pack slot1
relaunch the game and as soon I load slot1 I get an error. So I have only unpacked and packed the game without even changing values in the save game. |
