The Lighthorsemen - Charge at Beersheba Clip
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=p7dm_nbjNjE

From The Lighthorsemen (Australia, 1987) directed by Simon Wincer, with Jon Blake, Peter Phelps, John Walton & Tim McKenzie.
Extraordinary reconstruction of the Australian Light Horse charge at Beersheba (31 Oct 1917), during the campaign of Palestine. Within less than one hour, the Australians took the city regardless of the Turkish artillery and machine guns heavy fire.

Australian Light Horse were Mounted Infantry
(typically fought dismounted and not equipped with sabres
but with rifles)

The Charge at Beersheba is considered one of the last great WW1
Calvary Charges.

Machine guns and automatic weapons, Tanks and quick firing artillery
made this an obsolete horse calvary tactic, now best done by Tanks
or IFVs which went on to replace the horses.
