Custom Mods file names

Howdie Pirates!

Sorry if this is a repeat, but I was attempting to use the crew_2a_var_tav.dds and the crew_3b_tav.dds mods, and I can't seem to get o work. The problem, I think, is what the file names should be in the Custom folder. Does anyone know what the correct file names should be so that the game recognizes and uses them, instead of the standard files?

Howdy Pilgrim. My lap is on Davy Jones locker at the moment. I did have a appointment with OceanGate to retrieve it but it got canceled recently something about their Sub imploding whatever that is. Anyway the mod is likely already properly named as most of us idiots who call ourselves modders probably couldn’t spell our name right but when it comes to SMP we seem to get it right most of the time. It’s possible the file is corrected or misspelled but if it came from here likely we would know about the issue already. You can either drop in your custom folder or make a folder named Swedish Bikini Tream inside your Assets folder then drop it the Swedish Bikini Team folder. Unfortunately it doesn’t convert them to the Swedish Bikini team but that’s another story for another day. Hope this helps.

Correct names are in the mods along with preview JPGS.

place the DDS files here in The Custom Override Folder
(create it if required)

C:\Sid Meier's Pirates!\custom

where
C:\Sid Meier's Pirates!\
is the game installation folder


(Not recommend anymore to install any games to
\Program Files as now OS protected.
Instead Use a Folder with Full rights)

Yep, I had them right. Maybe I just haven't run into them yet. Odd.

Texture Mods do work, as certain I did try them at least once
back in the day
