I remember the Commodus comic - it was hilarious! I probably still have it since 80% of my comics survived the fire. |

I knew a guy whose house caught on fire. He woke up in the night because of the smoke and he and the wife made it downstairs and as they passed by the kitchen table there was a jar of peanut butter on it. On the way to the door he grabbed the peanut butter and made it outside. The house was a total lost basically burning to me he ground with nothing inside escaping except of course that jar of peanut butter. Needless to say how bad the situation was it seemed like people was amused by all the things you could try saving he made sure his peanut butter didn’t. |

Reminds me of the UK Comedian Ricky Gervaiss Story
When asked in an interview if his house was on fire, what valuable possession would he save first
So of course he joked - one of the twins, as you do
(even though he didn't actually have any twins)
He lived to regret saying that as the amount of push back he got on it
How could you leave one of your twins!
The practical how could you determine between the 2
and questions about how the (non-existant) twins were now doing
and were they aware you left one behind in a fire
For a long while afterwards , every Ricky Gervaiss interview brought up
...and the father of Twins - Ricky Gervaiss!
He wondered did anybody in the media bother to check sources or records
anymore or were just lazy
If you haven't bothered to check your sources
verified your story or research properly,
why do you assume anyone else in the media has,
they could be just like you and lazy. |
