We gotta do something about the main page. I know admin is MIA but not sure if he has access to the site. Updated links and maybe a news article pointing people to the mods forum would be huge |

This vid mentions HoP as well: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=tPxKch_oxtQ around 2:33:00 he starts the East Asia mod. Interestingly at the beginning he thinks Corsair91 is the author of most of the mods, lol, it might be worth collecting links in a single thread rather than reposting everything. It would be nice if we could access the mods section or compile everything in one place. |

In the Nookium youtube vid link prevously
he gives a quick overview where to source SM pirates mods - nexusmods & here. (Reserved for Game MODS forum section only)
The hookedon pirates site link on his youtube page for the vid is incorrect as includes a forward portion which doesn't work correctly.
Nookium confuses the re-poster Name with the various mod authors
so stuff is attributed incorrectly in the youtube vid.

Generally I think if people are actually interacting with content, or making new content, it should be near the top of the forum. Corsair's constant reposts mean that these older mods occupy the vast majority of the first few pages though.
If there was something like a single thread for each type of old mod that you dig up (one for outfits, one for map changes etc) then in my opinion the game mods forum would be a lot easier to navigate and less cluttered for our new visitors. I'm happy to defer to the mods/majority though. |
