Are there any music mods that have only the Pirates! Gold 1993 release music in it? Or all the 1993 release plus more? I think i found something interesting at nexus

BTW i own pirates! gold 1993. How hard is it to drag music from that game to SMP?

(ogg or mp3 at a complete guess)

Convert to WAV for SM Pirates

EDIT:

see
C:\Sid Meier's Pirates!\Assets\Sounds
various sub-folders

where C:\Sid Meier's Pirates!\ is the Game install folder

for the SM pirates sound file names

rename your wav sound filename as an existing wav file name
& place in Custom Folder

looking at the filenames used by the other Pirates Sound mods may help

Yes, use Custom folder
Edited previous post

you need to use the game's existing wav sound filenames
for the game to recognise the sound files
