That could work. I didn't think about trading for supplies. I'd just gotta remember to sign Dingo Dan up with the Spanish ("We don't trade with English heretics!") when he first starts off. 
While I have played for French and Dutch, I almost always attack their ships (love those Trade Galleons  ). So I'm not usually welcomed into their towns to trade.  Dunno why... ? They might not trade with a Frenchman or Dutchman (well, they probably would, just not THIS guy  )!
I have lost a swordfight and spent time in prison. At least there was a rat to keep me company during those long months. When my sentance was finally up and I got out, my ship (still damaged) and crew (now mutanious and starving) were waiting for me. 
The loss was unintentional (not an experiment) and I will never forget the shame "Seymour" (and me) felt. The only good thing was this wound up being my best game (so far)- I ended up as Mayor (the highest I've been- so far)!

Suggest Right Click on your existing Avatar Image
in one of your thread posts & Save As
to keep a copy of this JPG just in case.
Think I only ever used the Gallery Images and don't recall there was
problems changing those.
Avatar Image probably loaded when you first login to the site
in your current Browser session.
May need to logout then login again or clear Browser cache. |
