I just stumbled across this Kickstarter for Pirates: A Graphic History (But not THAT kind of graphic).

The hot rod pirate ship looks like it was inspired by the Hot Rod Monster artwork of Stanley Mouse or Ed Roth (creator of Rat Fink) Smile
