Currently I'm trying to conduct a play simulating a truly pirate story. That is:
- never talk to governors in order to avoid to get ranks and marque letters;
- plunder every ship / town without country differences;
- try to rescue my family;
- catch other pirates and thei treasuries.
It's quite interesting even if it is more difficult since it's more costly to repair ships, it's harder to sell entirely the goods plundered, harder to maintain crew morale higher, it takes more long time to reach safe harbors, longer to get rich and the overall game score is lower.
On the other side you avoid to lose time in dancing. |

I've started playing that, but found it very very gruesome. It's possible, but you won't amount to very much. Career usually ends quicker, so it has less longevity, but the career itself is often more interesting than playing the game regularly.
I considered dropping the whole quest thing altogether. Used the Pirate Respawn trainer to keep things interesting. _________________ Blondebeard: "Madre de Dios! Es el Pollo Diablo!!"

That sounds interesting. I think I'll give it a try. I'm doing Zem's game now where you have to have every nation mad at you except 1. I am finding it very difficult to do! But its fun trying... _________________
