I'm trying to pack in as much music into my mp3 player, so I'm wondering which files are smaller WMA's or MP3's?
If MP3's are smaller can you tell me how to convert the files. _________________ 13oSN1/-\ > You
Not sure which compresses more (not really that technically minded, but there are plenty of freeware or shareware programs available for download on the net which let you convert CD's to mp3 (and wma's too, i suppose). Just go to Google and type in mp3 converters or CD Rippers (or something similar). _________________ Shiver me timbers!!!

Basically WMA 64k bit is half the size of mps 64k bit but not as good sound quality as the mp3 version but good enough if your trying to fit as much on there as possible... if you are doing it at 128k bit the wma and mp3 file is the same size and sound quality is almost identical.
Hope that helps.. thats about as common language as I can get with it.
