Aye matey, I be thinkin' they take the one right under your flagship.
Then again it may depend on the siae of the crew that wants to commit the mutiny. _________________ Bring her about and make ready the guns!!

Most of the time they take the one under the flagship, but there are exceptions which depends on the quality of ship (they prefer a flag galleon to a fluyt etc.) |

Doesn't it suck when you have Henry M. s Large Frigate and a Royal Sloop, and they steal one of them? (if you prefer both and sometimes switch) don't forget you can take the ship back, because stolen ships don't "disappear" like they do in some games. |

Arrrrrrrrr ! | Not as drastic as you might think. Attacking the nearest port is a good way to solve crew morale problems. Yeah, some get offed, a 1/4 if you're doing it right, but there's insta-booty to add to the till, and they like that, too. _________________

The best solution is to keep the crew size rather small until you have about 400'000 of loot. Then you can start increasing the number of your men.
When you have a million or so of loot, you'll never have to worry about morale again... _________________ It is much better to be armed with a sword that has two edges than with an estoc [...], which is nothing more than a stick with a point. At least once they actualy choose the most shot up ship in my fleet!
A sloop of war i think it was.
I was in the Florida Channel heading to Nassau, the nearest British base
for free repairs [my pirate is always something of a cheapskate]
long story short, my entire fleet was badly shot up from many a sea fight,
the French were mad at me so Florida Keyes was Not an option, the pirate
anchorages charge too much for repairs and that left Nassau. The Crew
was pissed, long time at sea chasing villains and not captureing enuff gold
along the way to suit them. the Silly ingrates. |

I've never actually have a crew mutiny and take one of my ships. The worst I've ever had was them deserting. Bite the bullet and divide the plunder once in a while mates. _________________ Sincerly,

I've found that a good rule of thumb is 3k gold per every crewman. It's not exact, and might be a little less/more depending on difficulty. That much, and they'll NEVER mutiny. Ever. More crewmen though, and you'll be pushing your luck. I have about 350 or so with a million gold or so. The only thing that bugs me is that even if my crew is very happy, the morale meter shows the "Happy" icon... _________________ "After all, suprise is on our side."
