|

I went a shoppin o'er at Kendrills Quality Goods in town the other day.
Sometimes i likes to acquire goods the honest way.
Anyways,,,
Could'na but helps notice that he has 40 Daughters!
That's right! 40 of them!
No wonder he'll marry them off for the right price.
I heard he was a busy man,,but GhadZoooks!
Must be true about being the best equipted merchant in these parts?
No proof of that need to be seen,I'll takes peoples word for it on that one.
Is it something that he eats? Drinks? or does he have a secret mythical fountain of youth? Maybe an local indian chief sold him some Very Special
Herbs to make tea with.
I did'na have the chance to ask him personaly, he was "busy doing inventory in the back warehouse with the new sales maid"
his wife told me.
She also said it's tough to keep good help,,the help always seem to be
getting knocked up somehows.
Not sure what she meant by that.
Anyone else hear anything? _________________ "There's plenty of time to win this game and to thrash the Spaniards too."- Sir Francis Drake,20July1578 |

jbsmith, you sure those daughters all came from the same stock? Maybe that is just one of the wife ... I am sure, having those girls at nearly the same age... they must all come from different mothers.
So, it is highly possible, Kendrills have more than a dozen wives. _________________ Seeking new bride in place of gramma Emma. |

I have to start wondering here. Is this Kendrill we are talking about or is it really an Oldman also known as Grandpa? I see a similarity here. Is Kendrill really Oldman in disguise. Or is Oldman moonlighting as a shop owner?
Or possibly Oldman and Kendrill are brothers.
Hey, here's an idea maybe Oldman is actually Kendrill's Grandpa and Kendrill has accuired Oldmans abilities to have young Oldmen and young old women pop out every couple of weeks.
Inquiring minds want to know what is really going on here! _________________

forget about being like mike,
i want to be like Kendrill !.
or do i?
his wife is far too young to have given him 40 wee bairn lasses.
I've heard he got around alot, visiting many ports establishing
trade contacts before finally opening his store here.
He said something about "laying low & outta sight fer a spell, kinda have to ye know?this is not like being on the lam for piracey but a different kinda type of troubles all-togethers"
Oldman sez Kendrill has a dozen wives,,,hmmm,,,
dozen or so wives,,,40 daughters,,,had to settle down and keep out of sight,,
maybe being like Kendrill is not such a great idea afteralls.
methinks i'll just stick with me bonnie English barmaid who lives with me at my beachshack, she seems to like the place. Still i won't tells her about the Guvners daughters, as one famous Cap'n once toasted
"to our wives and sweethearts,,may they never meet!"
What this about similarities between Oldman and Kendrill, Howie?
I been out of commision a short spell,, hadta build meself a new rig
for me brig,,as the older rig gave up the ghost. _________________ "There's plenty of time to win this game and to thrash the Spaniards too."- Sir Francis Drake,20July1578 |

Well my friend our very own Oldman will definitely rival Kendrill for his prowess in producing kids and having wifes and girl friends.
Oldman's wife just gave birth to 5 kids. They looked rather old and hairy when they came out and we are all still trying to sort that one out.
But Oldman has many children and grand children. Heck, he's my Grandpa too, not to mention me idol.
Here's a toast to Oldman. May we all be able to do the things he is able to do at that age, what ever it is! _________________

I loves them and I leave them alone...fooled around, fooled around...think of all those mouths you have to feed. Imagine sharing a bathroom with 40 gurls. You'd never hold onto a razor. I prefer my offspring strung across the continent wondering who daddy is.
