What do ye think this could be? I had one fleet comprised of one mail runner, without extra hammocks, and war canoes, four I think. Well anyone have any weird fleets?

I've had Sloop of War leading a full fleet of Treasure Galleons, just for the cargo space. Not too strange, I guess.

I caught 7 SOLs with a War Canoe and dragged them behind me. Then I dumped the canoe for the eightth SOL. That was the 1600s SOL Catching Expedition.

Seven Sols with a war canoe? Impressive. I have never even seen a Sol. The largest ship of that type I ever had was a large frigate. Where did you find all of them Headrock?

I found them in the GUIDE section.

Heh good plug Headrock! Didn't even realize that there was a "guide" section. Although I must say winging it is quite a deal more fun than getting aid.

Thanks. I couldn't resist.

And yes, the methods there are pretty reliable, so if you get frustrated with not finding SOLs, I suggest you give some of my strategies a go. But really, I think after playing enough, especially if you don't spend all your energy against the spaniards, you're bound to see one. If you want 8 in the same fleet though, that takes some more concentrated work.
