I have been experimenting with a Targus USB keypad on my laptop. It works, but the reaction is extremely slow. I borrowed it from my spouse, so I'm not sure, but I suspect is USB 1.0. The delay when pressing keys would probably make using it to dance impossible, and in tight spaces, you hit a lot of stuff. Sad

I'm going to try using an external keyboard tomorrow, which I suspect may be the solution.

I use an old IBM USB numeric keypad on my notebook.
It works GREAT!!!

Maybe you should check your drivers?
