Is it just me, or is the sneaking part of the game WAY to slow? I have read about problems with slow down in certain areas. Every other part of the game runs fine, just the sneaking into town. Is it supposed to be super slow like that, or am I getting some slow down? If it is slow down, any tips to get it to speed up some!? Thanks

If you hold down the 'shift' key you will walk instead of creep.

Yes, I, for one (for one of the few), find sneaking fun. It runs fine with me, and it is pretty good.

I've used the <shift> key to run, but even that seems slow. I really do think it is a tech. prob and I'm getting slow down. Can someone give me some kind of refrence as to how fast your guy moves? Like as fast as a frigate durring a sea battle, something like that (right now its MUCH slower then that.) Thanks all.

I've got the same problem. When I hold down the SHIFT I can run but it's like I run in water, very very slow, and sneaking lasts million years. Any other part of the game is pretty fast. That's why I ignore sneaking and I pay a visit to the nearest indians or pirates ask them to attack. After that I defeat the town and proudly march in...

Try to decrease the screen resolution! It may make the game faster...

I can't recall having a problem with it. I kind of enjoy it, especially the thunk when I bust a guard upside the head. The only thing that has ever frustrated me is after finding the tavern, I have a hard time finding the door. But like dancing, with practice it gets easier.

I've noticed that disabling shadows has made my creeping much faster. Although it is really too slow to bother with.
