So far i heard about 2 games :
World of Pirates and Pirates of the Burning Sea.
I'm playing first title more than 6 months, just since open beta started.
It's cool, especially pvp combats, but it is far from game that Sid Meier created.
I would like to test second game but it's still closed for public.
If anyone knows other Pirates online games, please share with us..... |

I don't know any of them, but once I found the 'Pirates of the Burning Sea' site, and it has beautiful images. I don't remember if I found any useful info about the game itself. Anyway I look forward it...

Thanks, ToeJoe! I took a look at the WOP manual, generally I like it. Would you share us your experiences, impressions, opinion about WOP?

well hard to tell first of al in the beginning its very hard
second it isnt really real u can turn like hel so fast it isnt real
and the fights are not like real they suck in grapics |

I have to agree. I checked it out. The graphics seemed poor at best. And all the ranks they had were quite funny! It was interesting looking around. I didn't bother signing up to play. If people like it, thats cool...

There's no release date yet, there's not even an announced beta date yet, thus be prepared that it will take some time.
I'm reading their boards since quite some time (as lurker, hehe) and think the game looks good - and the developers seem to be honest and frequently discuss matters with their fanbase. I'm sure I'll give the game a try when it comes out. |
