You need to pay attention to the adds at the top of the page.
They are very entertaining.
Trying to sell us "Treasure Machines", "Cutlass Supremes" and the like.
If any of you can remember the good old Cutlass Supreme, you might think of "Fluyt". This was not something I can imagine any Pirate ever driving that was not on Punishment Detail.
Yep, the old man had a Cutlass S, with manual transmission.
Anybody remember the shift on the stick?
Anybody remember "Stuck in Neutral"?

I actually took a Cutlass Supreme international (1993) to Germany when stationed there. Had some engine work, and a few other things done to it there. It ran pretty dang doog on the Autobahn. (not nearly as well as the big BMWs, Opels and such designed for it.) But couldnt bring it back to the states because of some of the mods. _________________ The Spirit of the Cav is reason enough to fight! |

I noticed the ads, some of them are quite funny.
I learned how to drive on a manual 3 speed on the colum. Dad had an old 65 Chevy "something or other" and I learned how to drive on it way back in the mid 70's. I hated going up a hill and then having to stop. Aways stalled the thing out. _________________

My first car was a 1977 cutlass supreme, it ran very well, and a lot faster than it looked. 350 v8, not as fast as a mustang, vette or other muscle car, but pretty good for a 16yr old especially the insurance payments. _________________ "Me?
