I was just wondering how come Fab's wonderful historical flag pack, and his other slightly less historical (but still wonderful) flag packs aren't available in the mod section ???

Well, It's probably been uploaded, but the moderators take about a week or longer to approve stuff and post it.

If I remember correctly, fab had uploaded these files in the piratesahoy! ftp site. Dunno if he's switched to the mod site though.

Kristian, if you've got any news on the availability of that mod, give us a holler ok? Or, rather, fire off a broadside! Suits your status more! 
Now that I think of it, where the heck IS Fab? Haven't seen him around for quite some time. Or maybe he's changed avatar and I just didn't notice him...?
Avatar...hmm...say Kristian, here's an idea for a poll that just popped into my head: how often do you change your avatar? Some guys in here do it quite frequently, and to be honest it gives me a hard time noticing their posts!

last I saw, it was over in Pirates Ahoy download section (or more precisely the Upload section accessed by the FTP stuff) Don't know if it is proper to hikack a copy over here without his permission. |

So were mine stuff rupert. They're over here at the mods section now as I've noticed (btw the black hulls mod is #2?!?!? Damn, never knew it would be such a hit! I'm flattered people!).

That's why I pm'ed Fab a week or so before easter.... but no reply as of yet

On another thread titled "Stupid Purple Flags" or something like that, they were talking about how there might be something wrong with those particular flags that cause various nations and even pirates to fly a bright neon-purple (probably flag transparency). Perhaps that might have led to them disapearing. I've had this problem myself, but it certainly doesn't seem widespread, especially compared to how many must have downloaded those flags. Anyway, just speculating.... I'm not a programer or a moderator here. |
