I just noticed that I'm not a Powder Monkey anymore. Good, that stuff was making me sneeze....
Now I'm a Swabbie. I have a mop, but some daft pirate who thinks he's Errol Flynn kicked my bucket into a Spaniard's face. Both the Spaniard and the bucket went overboard.
Anyone have an extra bucket?

Sure! The bucket is something that I can kick into the face of an evil Spaniard, and the mop is ... um ... I think the mop is for practicing my dancing moves.

Congratulations SlipperyJim on your promotion. I was a Sea Man for real when I was in the Navy years ago. You are correct a Seaman is a man or even a woman now a days that makes their living on the sea...
