Oh, sorry. I thought you said, "What is ICQ's AIM?" That I can answer. ICQ's aim is to give every annoying person with a computer a way to contact you at home, or the office...anytime, night or day. No cover charge anytime. _________________

But you cannot contact somebody who uses ICQ via MSN, or can you? |

Nope...
ICQ <--> ICQ
AOL <--> AOL
MSN <--> MSN
YAHOO <--> YAHOO
there is one chat tool that crosses all called trillian or something like that but would need to look it up ... can't remember what chat tools it tied into. |

IIRC it connects between ICQ and msn.... but it might have expanded, since I haven't kept myself up to date with such for a while. _________________ HaP! Real Pirates hang out there! |

I use Trillian and it works great. Only need one IM tool instead of 3 or 4 AND you don't get those annoying ads the other ones like to shove in your face all day. _________________ TheDon

I guess that´s the way to go in the fututre, like the internet. Take a look in the old Pirates! Gold manual, there were five or six different "internets" back then. |
