Yeah, I've been known to shut down my PC, go and watch a movie, come back, have dinner with friends, visit the PC and find that it has just clicked over to "It is now safe to turn off your computer". (Well, not really, but it almost seems that long.  )

Shut down?? Wazzat??
I normally only 'Log off' at my work machine, and at home I just cut the monitor off..lol
But, back in the days of Win95 and back, we used to always shut down, nad yes, the above cartoon was true...
