Interest in weapon/armor shop?

Should we have a seperate weapon/armor shop?

If so, please give me suggestions as to what stuff could be purchased there. I mean, I'm nog going to put a broadsword in there, simply because they wouldn't be used on ships, nor would a full plate armor.

If there's enough interest in it, I'll look into it. (even in the pistols and such)

Nah...I don't think there is a need for a separate armoury. I think the only weapon that we don't have (and would possible need) is a pistol/musket. And that along with the culasses that are already in stock would not justify another store - just stick them in Kendrills Shop.

Actually, since I just purchased a quality cutlass, I started missing my favourite weapon - the rapier! It there any chance to get some variety to swords in this manner?

BTW: I mean real fighting rapiers from the early days of piracy. Not the later cup hilt rapiers and small swords which were little more than needles with a handle. A swept hilt rapier or merely a rapier with quillions and finger and knuckle guard might hit the spot...

BTW2: I might actually be able to produce the graphics for these myself, if you don't have a ready source (and if you are interested in the prospect)...

Hey Wolfwood. Considering that all the images in the shops have been borrowed, I'd welcome some freshly made images. Especially since I've been unable to find suitable pictures of some items that really shouldn't be missed in here.

Okay, Wolfwood works fast.

So, more borrowed images, but at least we now have:

a Flintlock Pistol
a Flintlock Pistol Set
a Quality Rapier

Actually, the rapier is anly borrowed in the sense that it was borrowed from some earlier art work that I did myself. So its originally my own image. I had to edit it rather a lot to make it visible in such a small scale, so it is not really 1:1 to the original either.

I agree with that... although recent events may have left me bare in the items department, I now have a lovely rapier to slay my many foes with!
(but I am now the second richest person (in gold) on this board, after the governor... how did he get so rich, anyway?)
