OK bought a Fast_Galleon cause well ... I could afford it ... LOL....Still awaiting crew to help sail it but they are seeming to want a hefty bounty for a good crew... So in the mean time I have bought me a pair of dice in hopes that I can make me some money to afford me a Hardy Crew to run this Vessel I have purchased....
(just thought I would have some fun telling a story with the icons I purchased feel free to add your own reasons for buying yours) |

Yarrr! There be one question I need to be asking...
If I purchase an inexperienced crew, will they become a hardy crew after say 6 months/ 1 year?
I purchased my hardy crew along with my talking parrot (now perched on my shoulder). We're all in the bar at the moment while we search for an appropriate ship. Hopefully the crew doesn't drink too much so that I'll be able to afford a decent ship - the good ones are fairly pricy, but that is to be expected. Maybe I shouldn't have bought an avatar or signature _________________ Shiver me timbers!!!

I wouldn't worry about your crew drinking too much. I saw that parrot on Civrules' shoulder before he sold it back to the tavern keeper.
No, let me rephrase that: When he begged the tavern keeper to take the animal back and even offered money.
You wouldn't believe how much rum that parrot drinks! |

Spending spree over! I'm hoping to get enough stock to open my own bar:
3 Bottles of mead and a barrel of fine Spanish rum, kindly lent to me by a fine gentlemen who decided that he had no use for it. Or his ship. I sunk the ship, though. Covered in barnacles and leaky. I can save up and buy myself a nice quality new frigate. Must... Keep... Posting! _________________ Mutinied to the good ship 'World of Warcraft' |

I noticed... Stay away from my monkey! He's ferocious.
The new site and shop seems to have prompted a wave of posting, everyone wants to show off how cool their items are. _________________ Mutinied to the good ship 'World of Warcraft' |

Yup, there's a maximum amount of gold that can be made. Keeps people from spamming/cheating. |

Ok thanks to this guy I was gambling with .... He said "Ifn ye wanna keep that gold of yers then maybe I can interest ye into a fine quality cutlass"
I pondered over why he was selling it for only 295 but thought if I am going to lead a Hardy crew and going to be gambling for the rest of my money than I better have certain insurances (the cutlass) to be keeping my gold and ship .... |

Let see before these new wonderful shop options were available I was savn for a Hardy Crew.... well as the shop imporves after squandering my money already except for what I was saving for the Hardy Crew allowed me to purchase it but now I will definitely be a few months before I can get a crew and cannons to go out to see... hmmm probably should get a treasure chest to hold me loot... The possibilites are relentless... |

'Happy' may not be a truly piratical emotion, but this one is bordering on at least 'Giddy'. Me founds a monkey!
After gentle prodding and hearing wind whispers whilst sleeping, the good and honorable Shopkeeper traded with the natives. Tales tell of the tastiness of the local monkey population, but a true connoiseur can see the value in such a companion.
From this day forward, be it known that young Nef's assistant is named Jeeves. The furry fellow is currently undergoing rigorous obedience training and shant be disturbed.
Meanwhile, I've purchased both a map of the Caribbean and a well-leveled compass. I'll be out amongst the other Cutlass Islanders for most of the evenings, but mornings will be spent in me cliffside hole studying and plotting me future voyages.
Hmmm...still eyeing that maroon Sloop near the end o' the pier. Perhaps I'll lend an ear and, possibly, some advice over at the Tavern to earn some gold. Before long I'll have me Sloop and crew. The only thing needed at that point will be a clear horizon...Aarghh. _________________ As he crawls back in his hole, under the rock, very near the cliff, overlooking more rocks. |
