Head Rock is a SOL hunter and they are very steady on the water and high of the waterline . I guess You don't even feel you are at sea on a SOL. It takes more courage for a pirate who doesn't like the water than on who was born with a beach for daily use.
Way to go HeadRock !!! kick the shit out of those shmuks on the water

I guess you're right though. I live on a mountain, so it's kind of logical that when on the sea I would be sailing my very own mountain! One with LOTS OF GUNS.

My nickname in the yachting world is Aptain Chaos 
been a professional yachtsman since 1979 with 3 RTWR under my belt .
I was lucky to be born in a city with a wonderful 20 NM wide bay in East Africa. The city , then called Lourenço Marques.and the country Moçambique. The city renamed Maputo in 1975 after the civil war between Frelimo and Portugal .
Anyway, we had a quite fast running tides flowing out and in . I started sailing at the age of 9 and it became natural to me. We sailed out with the tide and back in.
Back to your mountain , it is a dream to have a place in the mountains to retire , preferably by a lake.
Yes, back to Pirates, I am going to try for a SOL when I start my new game tonight .

Take a screenshot of the map, post it in the Orienteering section, and someone will probably help you.
