LOL for a second there I thought you where patronizing me (I took french in HS) but then I remembered that not everyone here speaks french.
Anyways is there a reason that you chose to name your vessels in french? Don't you remember how easily the french surrender? _________________ Sincerly,

I named me beauties in le francias because I used france as a starting country and for me it keeps up the illusion. bye the bye me crew got restless on me of late and we had to part ways. by their reckoning they were entitled to a means of transport off of the god forsaken rock we were settled upon at the time. so after a bit o rum bargaining we struck an accord and they set upon the sea with me sloop " the black spot". Ifn ye see her be sure to give her a broadside salute for captn. Pyke |

As times change so must a sea dog. In order to strike fear into the hearts of enemies of The Brethren of The Coast my ship has been renamed Maw of Fenrir. Well the Dutch may catch on to the name but still, I put everyone to the sword. |

I sail on the ship "Bukra." Which, for you European dogs, means "Tomorrow" in the language of the Arabs.

Cap'n Flint, when he still sails, still uses the Walrus as his flagship. But I have a feelin' his piratin days be over fer a while, laddies. He's got himself a beautiful wife, and reportedly some young'ns on the way. Never thought I'd see the day when old Flinty'd be litrally swabbin the poop deck, but thats what the young'ns do; eat, sleep, and defecate... Har Har, kinda like ole Flinty! HAR HAR HAR! |

On this current voyage, my Large Frigate is named 'Carnage' and my Sloop of War is named 'Bloodstorm'. As soon as I figure out how to load mods into my game, I'll try to figure out a way to make the sails blood red. |

Wow thats brave of you . . . go out pirating with a bunch of french guys.
So have they set a world record yet for running up the white flag? (Gosh I'm so hard on the French) _________________ Sincerly,

The Jerusalem be my ship. She's a sturdy craft, makes good speed with the cotton sails. Can fire off a broadside of 16 cannon when we have her fully loaded up. You'll know her by the sails. Three upturned crescents." |

Agreed.
Whenever I play as an English Pirate, I usually love the name Challenger
I still love the first name I ever chose Retribution (when I upgraded to a Large Frigate I named it Grand Retribution Hehehe!)
Currently, my flagship's name is Nebuchadnezzar. |

In my current game, since I'm playing a Frenchman, I thought it was appropriate to use my screen name, Roland. My namesake was the hero of the French medieval epic poem, The Song of Roland. I named the frigate I captured early in the game Durendal, after Roland's sword. When I captured another frigate I named it Monjoie, a traditional French battle cry found in the poem. And when I captured Morgan's large frigate, I re-named it Olifant, after Roland's horn. I briefly had an additional frigate, which I christened Veillantif, after Roland's horse. |

In my current voyage, I'm using a fully equipped Royal Sloop named 'Swift Vengeance'. I'm spending the majority of my time hunting down my lost relatives. Now, check this out. Karma was kind to me, and while searching for the first lost city, I stumbled across Montalban's hideout. Turns out that the one piece of the hideout map I had placed Monty's hideout literally half a screen away from the Inca city! I'd been raiding Spanish ports to secure more information sources to more easily track down my family, and since I had 300+ men, taking down Monty's fortress wasn't too hard. I'd never done it before, so I was shocked to recieve so much gold and all 8 specialists! Within my first 4 years, I had acquired over 300K in gold, and a fully outfitted fleet. Good karma paid off fast this time. I'm on the last relative now,and it's not even 10 years in.
Funny thing is, I named my ship 'Swift Vengeance' fromthe beginning, and I just moved the name tonewer and better ships until I got my uber-Sloop. Who would have thought that I'd stumble across Monty so soon and gain my vengeance so swiftly?
Maybe my next ship should be named, "Every Spanish ship carries at least 10,000 gold and only 4 guns." |

Hehehe! Maybe it's an easter egg. Include the word "Swift" in your ship's name and you get benefits.
