I made a mod that changes the apperance of the player character in
the fighting scenes at the beginning then when she wears armor.

CaptReddes made a great texture for the PC to look like a girl. It was made for a request of a little girl.

That mod was the first inspiration to make this mod.

I was lazy but now I put an expansion to my PC mod.

It changes the apperance of the player character additionally in some not rank dependent scenes. (prison, sneaking, deserted island, native camp)

This is not a stand-alone mod so if you don't have Pretty Captain mod 'installed' (unzip+copy Smile

) download it.

Awesome work ! Are you using blender? if so how are you exporting,and have you tried the rank dependant files yet.I find exporting to nif format,using blender to not be effective on rank dependent files,if your doing something different I'd like to know,as I am so close to total pc swapout.Thanks keep up the great work!,dread Willem of Nassau.

Some fellow Captains experienced that the zip file that I uploaded has a bad zip header error. Since I can dowload and unzip the file without any problems I can't help the zip error - because I don't have it.

So I uploaded the files separately and those who have the same problem can download them. Link

If you have any comments or problems with this mod please post it to this thread and I will fix them if I can.

Yes. You can have the guns but there were some export-import problems with the 3d files. After the modification all of the weapons wich are stored in the file (swords, guns) are always present (you can see in the picture below that 2 swords are present) and moreover the guns are misplaced to the air. So I removed them because it was disturbing.

Maybe NASSAU made some progress in the editing of the 3D files. I hope he will show up soon.

Awesome work there. I'm glad someone replied to your post, I also had a problem with the download not working. When I extract files it says, no files to extract. I was interupted and never saw the rest of the posts with the update. Haven't heard from Nassau lately, said he was very busy with work.
I started playing with the .nif files also and came up with this for a start.

I edited barmaid.nif and barmaid_duel.nif but the only apparent change was in the duel, the scene at the bar is unchanged like yours. I am currently trying to learn how to use Blender in order to give the barmaid some legs, funny the developers would go to the trouble of giving them shoes but no legs. Here are a couple of shots with you're Captain and a couple of my holiday themed barmaids.

I'm working on the same for the bartenders and then putting the appropriate decorations in the taverns, Govs. office etc., stockings on the mantel, easter eggs scattered around, then packing them in .FPK so they can be installed and removed from the custom folder easier when the holiday comes up. I love using your mod especially using the cutlass for a rapier. Gonna have to do some modding with that so I get the cutlass for a rapier with the other player_characters.
