Homonym trouble; he presumably meant that he defied the allegations and those who made them, but didn't realize he was proniuncing a word with another meaning altogether.

I have many favourites, here is one I pulled off the top of my head:

I always liked it because it would make a great taunt in SMP, with a few changes of course
