Well, the third voyage is not going to start yet, but I decided to start the topic to provide a brief summary of what has happened in the tale so far, so you do not have to read through the 30,000+ that has been written so far

Marco di Rossi had a privilaged upbringing, in the city of Genoa, son to the Count Antonio di Rossi, he and his family prospered. However, war broke out between Pidemont and Spain, and the Count decided to relocate his family to the safety of France, before returning to defend the city. However, a Spanish Raider intercepted the unarmed vessel, and captured his family. Unwilling to be caught, Marco jumped overboard. Rescued my a merchant vessel of the Dutch East Indies company, he soon found his way to Bavaria, where he found employement under a certian man named Captian Horge. However, this vessel was struck by malay Pirates, and di Rossi managed to overpower the pirates after being abandoned by Horge, and escape back to Europe. eventually finding his way to Port Royal.

'The Pirate, di Rossi arrived on Cutlass Isle after being told that he could find what he seeked there from a shady old man, sitting at the back of a tavern in Port Royal. After getting into a small fling with the daughter of a wealthy indervidual, Mr Harvard, an attack on the island by the 'Green Dragon' pirates changed his outlook on everything. After defeating the pirate Admiral, who was his former Captian, Horge, he learnt that a certian spanish Count, by the name of da Silva, knew of his sister, Aria's location.

The First Voyage
Buying a Sloop, named the Syzer, di Rossi gathered a skilled crew, headed by a Englishman and former thief, by the name of Jones, and an oriental swordsman by the name of Sai, he headed for San Juan, the counts last location...

The governor, in return for delivering a letter to a Spy in St Martien, told him where he coould be found, and after a duel, he discovered that she was in the Employ of the Governor of Panama, de Mora. On his way to St Marten, di Rossi found out that the Governors tomboyish daughter, Sophia, had sneaked aboard. Unwilling to turn back, he dropped her off at St Martien, in the Governors care, a man known as the Duke of Rotterdam. After plundering a few English ships, di Rossi rreturned to San Juan to find that Sophia was being held hostage by the Perverted Rotterdam. Charged with rescuing her, di Rossi attacked and sacked the city, rescuing Sophia, and returning to Cutlass Isle to divide the Plunder

The Second Voyage; Part 1, the Trip to Panama

A few weeks after his return, he decided to gather his crew to head to Panama to rescue his sister. Having far too few men to attack the city, di Rossi, with the help of Governor Telzaro, the Governor of San Juan, came up with a plan that would involve di Rossi sneaking into Panama, disguised as a Spanish Noble, and rescuing his sister. Heading south, first to Margarita, di Rossi and his crew captured many merchant vessels, before being confronted with the Pirate, Alexander. In the duel with this paticular Pirate, di Rossi lost an eye, and blacked out, only to find himself in Margarita, being treated for his wound, Sai, having defeated Alexander. In this city, di Rossi met up with his hot blooded cousin, the so called 'Angel of Death' Mia, who after dueling with Sai, decided to accompany di Rossi in serching for her father, my uncle.

Charged with delivereing this Pirate to Santa Maria, di Rossi first stopped by an Island to burry the treasure that they had collected as an insurance policy. On the way to this town, di Rossi and his fleet plundered their way through dutch merchant shipping, making it to Santa Maria, where the Governor promoted di Rossi to Ensign for his Glorious deeds. Contiuing to Porto Bello, di Rossi divided his fleet. Mia would search for her father in Porto Bello, Sai would head north and plunder English shipping, and di Rossi and Jones would head south and rescue Aria. On the trip, di Rossi befriended the Governors Daughter, Constanza, who fell in love with what she thought was a young noble at once, inviting him to the Governors Mansion to meet her father. There, di Rossi found Aria, and the following night rescued her in a daring escape, where Constanza found out his true identity. Happy to be reunited, the three of them returned to Porto Bello.

he Second Voyage; Part 2, The Darkest Hour...

On returning to Porto Bello, di Rossi was very shocked to learn that the Syzer was lost, with all hands. Far from home, he chartered a merchant ship to Cartagina, where the young Governor asked him to help stablize his position against the locals by assassinating a leader of the main discontent against him. Doing so, di Rossi gained passage on a Spanish Barque, which was soon attacked by the Green Dragon Fleet. Forced ashore, di Rossi soon found out that a nearby Plantaion was where his father worked, but apon reaching this plantation, the owner told them that he had been lost for nearly a year, a Ship on its way back from Havana was lost, with him aboard. Still not giving up on finding his father, di Rossi managed to get a ride to Santa Maria off the Plantation owner, with the promise of looking for his missing son, Jose, which di Rossi happily agreed to.

Arriving in Santa Maria, he found that the city had been sacked by the Green Dragon Fleet, who, apparently had sacked the town in search of a piece of map to the most valuble and mysterious treasure in the entire new world, the Hawkins Treasure. The Lt. Governor intrusted the piece of map to di Rossi, and charged him with delivering it to Telzaro in San Juan, telling him of a merchant vessel that was about to leave the town. Getting a ride apon this merchant vessel, di Rossi found, much to his horror, that the destination was Curacao, a town that was still after his head after certian events. Sneaking around the city, he soon learnt that the Governor General of the Dutch West Indes Company was in town, and was Shocked to learn that it was none other than Rotterdam.

Rotterdam, angry at the defeat at St. Marten, ordered his forces after him, but di Rossi managed to escape on a Pinnance. Sailing south, Aria, Mia, Jones and di Rossi found themselves in Coro, where they met up with Jones, and a certian character named Juan de la Montabon, the Duke of Valencia, and an advisor to the Spanish throne. Enchanted by Aria's beauty, the Duke asked if he could have passage to San Juan. But first, di Rossi stopped by the island where his treasure was located, only to find it dug up, and taken away. Angry, di Rossi returned to San Juan, giving Telzaro the Map, who for a reward, Promoted him to Captian, and promised to look after Aria, keeping him from dirty dukes hands. de la Montabon also took leave, telling di Rossi that he would mention him to the Spanish Crown.

Deciding to return to Cutlass Isle, and rebuild his fleet, di Rossi was intercepted by the entire Green Dragon Fleet. Jones, was killed, and di Rossi captured. Finding himself at the Green Dragon base, accompained by an English Noble, and two French Pirate Hunters, they decided to, with Jose's help, escape. Confronted by Horge, he let them escape for old time sake, informing di Rossi that Sai and Jones were both working for him before thier demie. Sailing for Tortuga, di Rossi left the Pirate Hunters and the English Noble, before heading for Santigo...

The Second Voyage; Part 3, ...is the hour before dawn

Arriving at Santiago, di Rossi Immediatly went to the Governors office to inform him of the location of the Green Dragons base, but much to his surprise, he ran into the Viceroy for New Spain, Viceroy Adriano de los Santos, the Duke of Cadiz, who rewarded him with a promotion to Major, and a sack of 50,000 gold. He also informed him of a fleet was to be sent to destroy this Pirate Mennace once and for all. di Rossi used the gold to purchace two ships, a Frigate, the Sezcka, and a sloop, the Aozora. Finding a skilled crew was not hard, and di Rossi soon learnt that his uncle, Mia's father was in the employ of a certian Duke of Rotterdam, last seen in Curacao.

Taking his fleet to the island, he docked on the far side of the island, and marched his troops overland to the city, and following the stratigy of Mathew Jefferson, one of his new recruits, won the day. However, Rotterdam was not there. Who was there was Count da Silva, who revealed himself to be the person who sold di Rossi's family into servitude, and that Horge was the Captian of the Spanish Raider that captured them. After a nail biting duel, where nether man could gain advantage, da Silva jumped out the window to safety. Returning to Santo Domingo, the holds full of gold and jewels, di Rossi learnt that the Spanish fleet was anchored in Tortuga Bay, waiting to attack the Green Dragon Fleet.

Deciding that now would be a good a time as ever to get revenge on Horge, di Rossi Sailed his fleet to Tortuga, only to find the Spanish Fleet loosing badly to the Green Dragon Fleet. Surprising Horge's fleet at night time, di Rossi managed to draw the Pirate fleet away from the ailing Spanish Fleet, and in a duel, defeated Horge, who apparently was working for Rotterdam. However, returning the favour for leting him escape during his darkest hour, di Rossi, released Horge. he returned to San Juan, and purchaced a house for Aria with the gold he plundered, being promoted to Colonel as a reward for the sacking of Curacao and saving the Spanish Fleet. However, before anyone could do anything, di Rossi was attacked by a mysterious oriental woman, who was Sai's sister, Maya, who blamed di Rossi for her brothers death. After defeating Maya, and letting her go to think about her actions, di Rossi and his crew decided to return to Cutlass Isle, but Jefferson decided to stay in San Juan and act as a messenger for him. Jefferson was given the command of the Aozora...

[That is the story so far... its a bit of a long read, but its far easier than reading the entire story... once the conditions are right, I will start the third voyage. Like always, feel free to PM me with your comments]
